Welcome to the website of the construction group of the Swiss Humanitarian Aid, open to all the humanitarian community active in the construction/reconstruction area . "General library" on construction documentation in humanitarian context, it also provide information on SDC project implemented in the field through  the "project library". 

Primarily open for SDC staff in the field and at headquarters, but also for their international and local partners, the platform welcomes participation and experiences sharing  of all practitioners active in the same area.

The Swiss Humanitarian Aid Unit (SHA) is the operational part of Swiss humanitarian aid abroad. Its members are primarily used in direct operations. They also work increasingly for international humanitarian partner organisations. These organisations include the UN High Commissioner for Refugees UNHCR, the World Food Programme WFP, the World Health Organisation WHO and the International Red Cross, ICRC.

All corps members are divided up into one or several SHA expert groups to match their professional activities. These experts ensure that every mission is managed efficiently and in line with the specific needs of each situation and in the four main areas where Swiss humanitarian aid is active: prevention, emergency assistance, reconstruction and advocacy.
